Updates

Yes, I have seemingly purposely neglected this site over the past six months or so. I've been putting this off for hell knows how long. The root of my problem started sometime last Febuary. The Ryoku Akuma (my new computer) for all I can figure was hit by lightning through its external Cable Modem. This fried its USB ports, which were what the modem were hooked up through. I needed to reformat it anyway, and it went down for maintenence. I was stuck back on my old Crappaq that barely ran at all, but did let me surf the net. When I started trying to look for tech support for the mobo, I realized quickly that ECS Elitegroup is based out of Japan, and guess what? All they have in America is a distribution center! There is no English tech support whatsoever, it seems! So, I managed to contact the place I bought the board from, and they agreed to refund my money for it. I've done that. And now I've got a spiffy new Asus mobo along with a quicker 2.3Ghz P4 processor to accomodate the 768 port.

It's like running a tiny god now. (Apologizes to Real Life Comics and or Penny Arcade, I can't remember where this quote came from.)

Now, I have my new computer back up, albeit you think that means I'd jump to update this site. Well, I wanted to at first, but my pitiful excuse of a social life got grinded to a halt, and I'm just now getting back into the swing of everything again. I'm not going into details since you'll think I'm just another dumbass teen full of angst--as if you don't already.

Oh, yeah, Tripod decided to more than half their webspace! YaY! That nice big 50MB that made Tripod better than other web providers got cut to 20MB! I'm actually working on a project that may involve several other posters from GameFAQs.com and an Anime & Game site, if I can work that out. It's an interesting idea, of course, going about making it work may be tough. Ah well, I'll disclose details as I figure them out. As for how great this computer is, let me show you the specs;

I'm almost always either LtStorm or Lord Arashi, so I wouldn't be hard to track down. Get ready for an ass kicking if you do happen to find me. ^_~

Now, albeit you're wondering what I have in store for this place now. Well, I'm working on the new Storm Haven strips, and will have them up, also, I'm going to try to force myself to actually work on the sections I've been neglecting for so long. So, check back frequently, I might now make note in this section of everything I do and put up.

Well, do you? Who is this man? Oh, me...Heh, sorry for never updating. I'm working on making this site part of a webring so, it may be updated more often soon.

I decided to just go ahead and Photoshop 6 all of Episode 5, which took a little more time, but was well worth it. You can see the first frame that I did way back in late September contrasted against the rest that I did a few days ago. I'm getting better, ne? ^_^

I haven't gotten much else to say, the Imagemap is up now, I'm making a few more improvements and additions to content on the site...

Okay, first off, again, forgive me for neglecting my site. I'm working on it, and I think I figured out the err in my way of making that last Image Map.

The newest Episode of Storm Haven is up, the next one I'm making purty with Photoshop. So it's taking awhile. I'm going to implement some Java to the site if I can figure it out, namely the image map.

I'm working on the shrines also, and putting up a new background for it. I may do something to Halloween-ify the site, I dunno, I don't think enough people visit to do anything.

Oh, and the Guest Book seems to be down, I went to check it the other day and something is wrong. I'm working on fixing that too.

Okay, first off, forgive me for neglecting my site. I've been honning my drawing and writing skills for the past two months.

And I've been working on a comic I'm doing called Storm Haven which will be posts on this site.

As of late, I've gotten my hands on Photoshop 6, and I can't stop playing with it. I'm working on an image map for the left bar to replace those hideous buttons, I don't know how long it will before before I'm done though. As an alternative, don't it make my art look purty? ^_^

I have a ton of my own art I'm uploading to the section as soon as possible, and I will be getting some friend's art that'll be posted too.

That's what you'd be saying too if you went to prep the Asuka Shrine just to realize your collection of pics of her are nowhere to be found...I'm still trying to get to the bottom of this-- 4 of 13 Gigabytes on my HD have been swept-- and I'm still not sure where they could have gone to...Oh well, I recovered several of the Asuka pics and am loading them up now. Anyway, I finally got the first three pages of the Asuka Shrine up, and I'm getting back the images of Aerith, Kiyone, and Felecia so I can work on their shrines.

I know, I know, "OMG, the Lieutenant actually made an update! Hell's fixing to freeze over!" Well, Cassious and Adrian (Little Nikky reference) are still home I can assure you. So, what I'm really here to say is, school is out, I'm freed for the summer, that means... UPDATES! And I'm starting by updating the song on the main page, Gerudo Valley: Techno Remix is now playing, it is nifty, no? As for the page Title, you'll need a knowledge of the Japanese language to get that, and know me and her. And as for the title of this update, it means 'Good evening, Mr. or Mrs.' Yep, that's right, I was formal for once in my life.

The games section is up now, it'll have it's own button as soon as I get Xara Webstyles to work again...My computer had a heart attack the other day and I am still currently recovering all my programs, some that won't be missed are that damn Dashie Bar and ICQ.

At this point, all I can tell you about my life is, I'm still alive...In Summer School (which I'm enjoying), but still here...I have two new games, Red Alert 2 and Black & White, though somewhat dissapointing, have added themselves to my collection. Red Alert 2 is a new favorite of mine.

I changed the the Image section to another idea, Chibi Shrines of my favorite anime girls, I'm working on getting that up now too, and boy do I have the pics to add. ^_^ And they'll be going up tomorrow.

That's right, I gave the place a face lift, now it looks pretty nifty, no?...The anime section is up and I'll soon be adding series page by page and info on them, not to mention my personal rating of the series. I should really be kicking things off this weekend, I got things to work on now, and have refreshed my knowledge of HTML, which is really good and with a little help from a friend who informed me his site was one big arse table, which mine is now also, so I did it!...You'll be seeing alot of sections appear this way soon, especially the sections that house many sub-sectors.

Atleast that's what I was thinking when fixing my morning cereal...The fanfic section is now up, and I'm working on the image section. A little behind schedule though, my computer need triple bypass surgery...or something...and It's been delaying my work by due to the time it takes me to get the piece of silicon to work. I should have more lyrics up by the end of the night also. Lyrics.com has failed me, so I'm back to typing them out myself...as for my own life? It's been terminal boredom in a healthy dosage...

Don't worry, that title doesn't have any revelence to the update...thank God...but I'm a little bored right now. You'll notice a MIDI playing in the background, it was actually self composed ^_^ and I'll eventually add a bar for you to pick the music. But for now you should just get a start/stop choice. I'll be making alot of updates over the weekend, now that the week from hell is over (report cards...) and I'm failing Algerbra I...worse that I could've imagined...but since I've settled that I'm back on the web.

Exactly what I feel like yelling sometimes while I'm working with Arachnophilia, no, it's not giving me problems, it's just painful when you realize how powerful it really is...I'm adding MIDI's by the dozen, it scared me when I found I had some of these...Also, the images section should be up within another hour.
